  • A great daily drive for the price.

For the price, OnePlus 12r is a great device. The gaming experience is great but, it struggles and throttles down if the ambient room temperature is high. If the device is running in a cool environment it runs smoothly (gaming). I believe if you are a hardcore gamer, you should go for the cooler that OnePlus has to offer. But overall, with normal usage it is great and gives you a really smooth experience.
For an Android it is a really good choice. But, one thing I noticed is that while playing genshin impact, yeah it gives you consistent 60fps but, only gives you the option to set the graphics to high in - VFX, effects, resolution, etc. the only thing that it allows you to keep at the highest setting is the environment details. While on the other hand on my old iPad with A13 bionic it's is the other way around, it gives me the option to set every single graphics option to the highest setting except the environment details which is limited to high. (The graphics options are LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH AND HIGHEST) in Genshin Impact. So, I was confused at this point.
Apart for that, the cameras are not good on this device. Despite of the imx 890 sensor, the photos on infinite focus lose their details. Cameras could have been better.

    Pros
    • Snapdragon 8 gen 2 at a reasonable price.
    • 5500mah battery
    • 100w fast charging
    • LTPO 4.0 screen with Dolby vision support
    • UI customisations are easy
    Cons
    • CPU throttles badly if high ambient temp
    • Cameras could have been better

    It is an excellent mobile

The mobile phone is very powerful and has a good battery. It does not suit all tastes. It is for those of us who want power and performance before cameras, although the cameras are decent, quite good in my opinion. Updated curved screen that is quite vulnerable to falls from a fall from a chair. It has broken a little in one corner so be careful if you buy it

    Not for games

The phone is great for easy use. But the phone is not suitable for demanding games, it overheats and reduces FPS to 55

Top of the range at a mid-range price

There is not much more to say, it is a mobile phone that works perfectly, with a large battery, very fast charging, notable camera during the day, acceptable at night

Excellent device at a very competitive price

Excellent device, with a truly excellent quality curved screen, even in the sun. Processor that almost never heats up, even with the heaviest games it runs really well without any lag. Very fast charging at 100 Watts and good battery life. Very well optimized and stable software, (I personally didn't find any bugs). Average camera, nothing spectacular, but still a good camera. Overall a great device that suits all uses.

    Beautiful!

What can I say about it, I've only been using it for a short time, but I've already been amazed by this OnePlus. OnePlus always uses premium quality materials on its mobile phones, obviously talking about the top of the range. I found it very robust as a mobile phone, easy to handle, quite light, but above all not bulky. Yes it holds comfortably with one hand and the adge display is top. The quality of the display is truly a gem, very bright, even in full sunlight. OnePlus is also recognized for its apathetic feedback which is not a buzz like many cell phones, the opposite. From my personal experience of use it performed really well. I used it in gaming, daily and with an always active display for streaming. I am really satisfied with these terms of use. It didn't skid in the slightest, even with very heavy games with ultra graphics or maximum fps, with emulators it behaves like a god, excellent autonomy. In my opinion I prefer this to the OnePlus 12. Top of the range processor, Snapdragon never disappoints! Update me, I'm here. In short, you could ask for more. Main camera is very nice, although not comparable to vivo x100 or Samsung s24, but still really satisfactory. A negative note is the selfie camera, really bad and low resolution. Maybe with some software updates it can be improved. As I repeat, this is an opinion on my experience of use, obviously it can change from person to person.

    Pros
    • Power and hardware
    • Very bright display
    • Very fast charging
    • System stability
    • Large battery
    • General autonomy
    Cons
    • Selfie camera
    • No 3.5 audio jack
    • Resistance only IP 64
    • No wireless charging

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
